My final decision on the fridge-issue is a 2-door Toshiba (the smallest of the range) with a 25% energy saving rate. Atleast that's what the salesperson told me. I also decided to just get one air-cond first because the second room which has no air-cond at the moment, turned out to be pretty cool and with a fan, it is quite pleasant. And after all the surveys, I picked a Hitachi which apparently has a better BTU (compared to Pana, my other choice), which means, faster cooling. It also has longer warranty period and is quieter (than Y**k, old n trusted brand - according to the salesguy).
Both to be installed on Saturday.
Yup, my home is shaping up.
